Walter J. Pories Research Award

The Research Award recognizes the important research and scientific achievements that have expanded the understanding of obesity and whose excellence and contributions have led to a significant advance in obesity research.

In 2024, the Research Award was renamed to honor and recognize Dr. Pories for his extensive life-long work and contributions to obesity treatment research.
